Lip Glozz Review:

If you haven't heard of these lip balms yet, then where have you been? They are basicly lip balms in the shape of an egg. They aren't perticularly in my favor, although I don't have anything against this product. They are not tinted, which doesn't surprise me; one, because some of them are medicated. Two, I don't know of any lip balms that are tinted besides Baby Lips. Although, Maybelline does make Baby Lips Dr. Rescue, which are medicated AND tinted, but I'm not going to hold it against eos that their products aren't tinted.

 

I own three (3) of these lip balms {if you're wondering, I own Sweet Mint, Raspberry Pomagranite, and Honeysuckle Honeydew} and the only one I remember having a smell when I bought it was Sweet Mint. If you're a person who doesn't like lip balms to smell to strongly, then Sweet Mint is not for you. Then again, it doesn't bother me too much, since I love anything minty. The smell doesn't stay on your lips for a while though; I noticed that Sweet Mint only had a smell for about 10 minutes before it diminished entirely.

 

The company stepped it up, though, when they released eos Sticks! Nice job, eos! Although it was less origional than the ball-shaped lip balm idea, the new product was good for advertising. I haven't seen any television comercials on the product, but I have noticed constant ads on YouTube and other social networking sites.

I found the ball-shaped products at lots of places for $3.49; but despite the constant advertising for eos sticks, I haven't seen them in stores ANYWHERE yet, and I've been to the Rite Aid about three times in the past two weeks.

 

The flavors are very origional. I love the fact that you can get them in many different colors. I don't know of any flavors for the eos sticks, and I don't know if they're going to keep adding new flavors for the sticks, or just reproduce old flavors. I don't know if the eos company knows this, but making the same flavors isn't going to make them money! If people already have the flavor in a different package, what makes you think they're going to buy the same flavor in the eos stick product! *Just sayin'*
